Educational & Press Trip
In January, we have welcomed eleven representatives of Italian MICE agencies and one journalist from a B2B MICE magazine. In cooperation with Czech Tourism and Prague Convention Bureau we had the opportunity to show them the best of Prague.
Our guests started the morning with a beautiful surprise – historical cars picked them up at the Marriott hotel and drove them through winter fairytale-like Old Town to Prague Castle.
They enjoyed the magical atmosphere of the largest ancient castle in the world where our excellent guide told them interesting historical facts and funny legends. The Prague Castle is dating from the 9th century and it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the stunning white-golden Spanish Hall, you can organize events for up to 500 guests and private concerts can be enjoyed in the St. Vithus Cathedral.
Then our guests warmed up in the Lobkowicz Palace with a delicious coffee break and impressive art collections. This 16th century palace (the only private facility inside Prague Castle) boasts a breathtaking panoramic view that enhances the unique, cultural experiences housed within: the collections, concerts, café and elegant event rooms.
At the end the representatives strolled around Mala Strana and Charles Bridge and admired the unique John Lennon Wall where bespoke graffiti workshops can be organized. Once a normal wall, since the 1980s it has been filled with John Lennon-inspired graffiti and pieces of lyrics from Beatles’ songs.
